Claim for refund of state fee

If you have paid state fee in a wrong manner or in a sum exceeding the prescribed amount to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, then you are entitled for the refund of the paid State Fee within two years starting from the 1 January following the date of payment.
When applying for the refund of state fee you must file to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs a written application and original document certifying the payment of state fee.  Application to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for refund of state fee
Filled in application together with an original document certifying the payment of state fee should be sent to:
Välisministeerium, Konsulaarosakond, Islandi väljak 1, 15049 Tallinn.
